Job Seeker Tip #5 | Make It Plain

This week, we go back to back in the series. Number 5 on our list of job and career seeker tips is to MAKE IT PLAIN. As in, easy to perceive or understand. Fact is, 97% of all positions in any company require some level of education, and/or experience. From customer service positions requiring a HS Diploma to Nurse Practitioner positions requiring a Master's degree and further. If you are qualified for the position you are applying for, and you have the credentials, make sure it is conveyed on your resume. You want this information at the forefront. Don't be the person who is left out of the running for your dream opportunity because your resume didn’t clearly communicate your qualifications. It seems obvious, but we see this often. Make it clear why you deserve to be considered, and that you meet the standard being sought out.
